"Na Na" is a song by American rapper Young Prince featuring American recording artist Jason Derulo and English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. It was released as the second single from his third studio album on September 4, 2014, to positive reviews. Despite its release date had been announced to be a month earlier, Prince pushed back the release without warning after Sheeran heard the song and asked Prince if he could lend his vocals to it. Originally, Sheeran would sing the chorus of the song "Booty", but Prince agreed on him adding a rap verse on "Na Na". Previously to its release, it hadn't been announced Sheeran would also collaborate on the song. After its video release on September 18, 2014, the song rose to number-one on the US Billboard Hot 100 on its third chart week, as well as reaching number-one in the Springfield Hot 20 Singles chart, becoming Prince's first number-one on the chart. Rapsta Chik, who co-wrote the song, loved it and uploaded a remix of it to her SoundCloud account titled "Na Na (The Chik Mix)". She extended the track, added her own intro rap and did a full rap verse after Sheeran's rap.
