Nick Riverra is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who rose to fame as the main guitarist of heavy metal band Punk Town. He is the cousin of the band's singer, Joshua Riverra.

Punk Town (1990-1993)Edit

Riverra joined heavy metal band Punk Town in early 1990 as their guitarist. He then recorded with the band for 4 years, and was credited as their guitarist in their number-one album New Flesh and their 1991 and 1993 albums respectively, Death and Punk Town. He also accompanied the band on tour and helped the band gain more popularity. After the band went on hiatus, Riverra served as the executive producer of Sarah Simpson's debut solo album, Designed The Way.

Insomnia and final works with Punk Town (1994-2003)Edit

Right after Punk Town went on hiatus, Riverra started working on his debut solo album. He had planned to release it in 1995, but Punk Town rejoined to start recording their seventh studio album, The Pussy Rocks. However, Riverra kept working secretly on his project. In 1998, he released his first solo single featuring his cousin Joshua Riverra, "Rock It". The single received positive reviews by critics and fans. He continued working with Punk Town for the following years until The Pussy Rocks was released in 2001. A second single, "Lick My Beat", was released in early 2002, months before the release of the band's last album to date, Rocking the chick.

Riverra released his debut solo album, Insomnia on July 13, 2003, preceded by the release of the two singles already mentioned. The album debuted at number 30 on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart, and peaked at number 4 nine weeks after. The third single from the album was "Piss on You", which was released in late 2003. It received mixed reviews by critics, who said it wasn't one of Riverra's best efforts, but it was still one of his greatest songs. He ended the Insomnia era with the release of a fourth single, "Dogs", also in late 2003.

Musical hiatus and failed marriage with Tina Fresco (2004-2012)Edit

In 2004, Riverra stated he would rest from music for a while, to concentrate on his romantic life. He soon became the boyfriend of American singer and model Tina Fresco, who he married on January 15, 2005. On December 18, 2005, their first son, Luther, was born. The following year, Fresco suffered a miscarriage, what lead to an argument between the pair. In April 2007, they separated, and they officially divorced on May 26, 2007.

Riverra found himself in a deep depression and didn't leave his house for 2 years. In 2010, he became friends with American rapper Young Prince. They had recorded a collaboration for Prince's scrapped album Early Money Presents..., which was described by Prince as flawless. It was not until 2013 that Riverra would record another song.

Nick (2013-2015)Edit

Riverra was signed to Prince's record label, Low Price Records, in late 2013. He started recording songs for his second studio album, Nick, which he will release in early 2014. On December 3, 2013, Riverra released his comeback single, "My Disease", worldwide. "Damn" was released as the second single on February 6, 2014, while Nick was released on February 18, 2014.

Acting Career (2015-) Edit

Riverra retired from music to start an acting career, and made his acting debut in the 2015 romantic comedy "Soul2Soul" as Jonas. Riverra will make a second acting appearance in the 2016 horror film sequel "The Eyes: Confrontation" as William. He will make a recurring appearance in Seven Cases of Crimes Against Humanity.
