Trio3 was an American-Canadian male trio consisting of members Evan Connors (lead vocals), Clark Jackson (guitar, vocals), and Tyler Jay (drums, vocals). After their cover of The Vamps "Somebody To You" went viral, American-British rapper Rapsta Chik signed them to her record label Livin' Life Records. The band broke up in 2015 due to differences, disagreements, and low album and single sales. Two singles were released since they broke up, there was Rapsta Chik's "Billions" which featured a sample from the group's song "Billionare", which was released as the band's third and final official single
Evan Connors (lead vocals) (2013-2016)
Connors was interested in music since he was a child. At the age of 8 he got his first microphone, and wrote and performed his first song. At age 13 he and his older sister were in a car crash, and the event traumatized him. But he eventually got back on his feet and wrote more music. Eventually in 2013 deciding to form a band. In 2014 he met Isla Chan and briefly dated her, they remained friends and she even featured on the band's debut single. The couple later got back together and stayed together until Chan's death in an SUV accident.
Clark Jackson (guitar and vocals) (2013-2016)
Clark got his first guitar at age 10, and he learned how to play within a week. He met Connors at a bar in 2013 and heard him perform. He came up to Connors and asked if he had any plans to make a band. Connors and Jackson became a duo and started looking for a third band member.
Tyler Jay (drums and vocals) (2014-2016)
In early 2014 Connors and Jackson met drummer Tyler Jay, and he joined the group. He would do drum solos and release them on YouTube. He released a drum remix of Sia's "Elastic Heart" in early 2014 before he joined. After Jay joined, the trio was complete.
